Mysteries On Main Street

In 1991 Priscilla and her daughter Carrie bought a small bookstore on main street in Gloversville. They expanded the inventory by 300 percent and also added many gift items, such as jewelry, candles, plush & music. The expansion soon required much more space, so in 1996, we moved two doors South to the Glove City Commons, a mini-mall. The big move and expansion took place in September 2002 when Priscilla purchased a beautiful brick building built in 1886. We now have much more space, a kitchen, bathrooms and much more room.

In 1997, Carrie and her new husband Matt started a bookstore in Saranac Lake NY. Their store has become very successful.

Priscilla's husband, Lee, is a Civil Engineer. He helps us evenings and weekends with new displays, slot wall and maintenance on the building.

Priscilla and Lee have two other children. A son, Peter is married with two little boys, Timothy and Danny. Peter is a Chemical Engineer and his wife, Terry is a CPA. Their youngest daughter, Crystal, is a management consultant and lives in the Boston area with her husband Todd and their daughters Lani and Casey
